What is DTF?
Direct to Film (DTF) 🎨👕 is a cutting-edge method in T-shirt production. It creates vivid, full-color designs that transfer easily to fabrics using a heat press. 🌟 Specialized ink on textile-specific film ensures high-quality, durable results, revolutionizing garment design with vibrant details and exceptional clarity.
What is a gang sheet?
A "gang sheet" refers to printing multiple designs and various colors on a single transfer sheet. 🖨️🎨
What is your TAT (turnaround time)?
Turnaround time is same day for orders placed by 4PM EST and next day for orders placed after the cut-off. If you need an emergency print, always contact us at support@empiredtf.com, or the chat here.
What size print do I need for my shirts?
In general:
👕 Pocket: 4 inches
👶 Baby Onesie: 5 inches
👧 Toddler: 6 inches
👦 Youth: 8 inches
👕 Adult XS, S, M, L, XL: 11-12 inches
👕 Adult 2XL, 3XL: 12-14 inches
👕 Adult 4XL: 15 inches

What format should my file be? Any resolution guidelines?
Your file must be a high resolution transparent PNG, TIFF, PDF, PSD, or AI. 🖼️ Please send at least a 300 DPI resolution file for a higher quality print. It is your responsibility to check the quality of the uploaded file.

What are the pressing instructions?
Operating Instructions:
- 🔥 Preheat your heat press to 320°F (160°C).
- 🔄 Apply medium pressure for 10-15 seconds.
- ⏳ Wait 15 seconds or a few minutes, depending on the film choice.
- 🔄 Peel from the sides, based on the film type.
- 🔥 Re-press if needed for 10-15 seconds at 320°F (160°C).
